HISTORY OF AURICULARTHERAPY

I open Magic Staple by Cindy in Oct.2006. Ear stapling has been around for over two decades.

Auriculartherapy are based on the work of Dr. Paul Nogier of France. His first procedures involved cauterizing a specific area of the ear to relieve lower back pain, He then tried other ways of stimulating the area and found that acupuncture needles were also effective. He developed the Inverted Fetus Theory. This theory said that the whole body has a correlating points in the ear in an upside down orientation. The head is represented on the lower lobe, the feet at the top of the external ear and the rest of the body in-between,
In 1958, the Chinese took Dr. Nogiers's theory and combined it with what they were already doing with acupuncture in the ear. THus, the chinese did extensive auricular mapping of over 700 points.

At Magic Staple By Cindy, I put a small surgical steel staple at key pressure points that targets craving, weight loss, stress,migraine headaches, smoking cessation. Ear stapling utilizes the body's "micro system" of the ear to treat certain parts of the body. It has been demonstrated that different points in the ear have higher electrical conductivity when their related organ or tissue is stressed, imbalanced or diseased. Treatment of the points should enhance energy to the area of imbalance will potentiall result in physical improvement.

I concentrate on three: the diaphragm point for smoking, the wounderful point for stress,craving, and migraines,and the stomach point for weight loss. the stomach point can help with acid relfux.
